MaraDNS was written with the intention of offering a secure and compact DNS. For example, it uses its own library to avoid possible leaks in other people’s code and does not run in a root account, but as an unprivileged user. Versions 2.0.06, 1.4.12 and 1.3.07.15 were recently released with the following changes:

This is a stable release of MaraDNS.

Version 1.4.12:
