Malwarebytes has released version 1.60 of Anti-Malware. The program is aimed at fighting spy, ad and malware, especially the removal of malicious software that pretends to be a bona fide antivirus or antispyware solution, but actually has less good intentions. In addition to the free version, there is a paid variant that offers additional functionality, including real-time protection. New in version 1.51 is, among other things, that new users can try the pro functionality for two weeks, that scheduled tasks can be edited and that the update procedure and protection module have become more efficient. New in version 1.60 is, among other things, a technique to allow the program to start anyway when malware is active that tries to block the program.

• Custom log locations now displayed in Logs tab.
• Protection logs can be saved in custom locations.
• Program version release date now displayed on About tab.

Issue Fixed:

• Fix for database not updating properly on Czech installations of Microsoft Windows.
• Fix for certain scenarios where scans failed to complete.
