Download Macrium Reflect 6.1.1225

Paramount Software has released a new version of Macrium Reflect, the fourth already this month. This program can create a disk image of a partition or hard disk. Macrium Reflect is free for private use, but there are also paid performances. They offer different extras, such as being able to do a file backup or an incremental backup, encryption, and restoring a backup to different hardware than it was created on. The standard version costs 45 euros, the pro version 60 euros and the server edition goes home for 193 euros. In version 6.1.1225, the following improvements have been made:

Bug Fixes

• In rare circumstances encrypted images could fail to open with v6.1.1196. This has been resolved
• On 32 bit Windows installations an ‘Out of Memory’ error would report ‘Unknown Error’. This has been resolved
• If an email had no subject, Reflect was previously unable to export it to EML or MSG file. This has been resolved.
• On Exchange 2003 and 2007, if an email’s content had been deleted from the Exchange server but it still had an allocated row in the Exchange database, then that row would still be visible in the Mailbox Restore wizard. When restoring folders, Mailbox Restore would try to restore these non-existent emails. This has been resolved
