Download Macrium Reflect 5.2.6444

Paramount Software recently released an update to version 5.2 of Macrium Reflect. This program can create a disk image of a partition or hard disk. Macrium Reflect is free for private use, but there are also paid performances, That extras including being able to perform a file backup or an incremental backup, encryption, and restore a backup to hardware other than that on which it was created. The standard version costs 45 euros, the pro version 60 euros and the server edition goes home for 193 euros. This release fixes the following three issues:

• File and Folder backup issue with ‘Chinese Simplified’ System Locale
  Certain Chinese characters could cause files to be invisible when mounted in Windows Explorer when backed up using Windows set to ‘Chinese Simplified’ System Locale. This has been resolved
• SMTP Email Server connection problem
  A connection problem with ‘outlook.com’ has been resolved.
• Program crash after completion of backup
  If a backup was initiated when displaying the ‘Log’ tab a program error could occur at the end of the backup. This has been resolved
