Download Linux Mint 13 Xfce
At the end of May, version 13 of Linux Mint was released with two different desktop environments. The first uses MATE, which is based on the deprecated Gnome 2 code, and is intended for older hardware. The other uses cinnamon, which is based on Gnome 3, but feels like the ‘classic’ Gnome 2 environment. Now a third has been added, namely one with the lightweight desktop environment Xfce† Linux Mint 13 is based on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and includes the latest standard programs such as LibreOffice 3.5 and Mozilla Firefox 14.
