Download Linux Mint 12

Ubuntu Linux is a popular Linux distribution, but since the introduction of the Ubuntu-developed Unity user interface, there has also been a growing group of disgruntled users. Mint Linux is an Ubuntu-based distribution that uses the Gnome 3 desktop environment and has added ‘Mint Gnome Shell Extensions’ to it. It is also possible to use Mate, a fork of Gnome 2. Version 12 of Linux Mint has been released and more information about this release can be found on our front page and in the release notes.
