Version 3.3 of the Linux Kernel has been released. The kernel is the heart of the operating system and, simply put, it sits as a layer between the hardware and the applications. New in this release are changes from Google that make running Android apps easier. In addition, we have fixed problems that occurred when writing to slow disks, there is a hot-swap for software raids and we see several improvements in the control of video cards.
