The idea of ​​a Concurrent Versions System is to centrally store the source code and track changes using version numbers. This makes it possible to keep the different versions and to get an overview of which changes have been made by whom and when. LinCVS is a graphical interface for the commandline tool cvs which makes it possible to perform checkouts, imports and commits. In addition, you can browse through the different versions and find the differences between the local file and the cvs file. The developers recently released version 1.4.1 with the following release notes:
