Download LimeWire 4.9.11

Over time, various networks and applications have been developed for exchanging files, such as the Gnutella network, which runs a number of different applications. LimeWire is one of them and offers support for a large number of operating systems by using the Java environment. The developers have released version 4.9.11 with the following changes since the last entry in the junk tracker:

Version 4.9.10:

• New LimeWire 4.9 splash screens.
• Included many new international translations.

Version 4.9.9:

• Reverted change to Verifying File.
• Small improvements to memory consumption.

Version 4.9.8:

• Increased the maximum number of sources from which to swarm.
• Made the default connection speed in the installer to be cable/dsl.
• No longer truncating trailing ‘extensions’ of folders in the Library table.
• Fixed downloads not necessarily resuming on LimeWire restart.
• The bandwidth indicator now shows a time average over the past several seconds.

Version 4.9.7:

• More minor bug fixes.

Version 4.9.6:

• Incorporated column resizing patch from Miguel Munoz.
• More minor bug fixes.
