Download KDE 4.0 RC1

The developers of KDE have taken the 4.0 series desktop environment out of beta and are working on the bring out of the first release candidate started with the release of the first final version of KDE 4.0. The K Desktop Environment (or KDE for short) is, as the name implies, a desktop environment, but specifically for Unix-like systems. Release Candidate 1 of the 4.0 series is available from this page be downloaded. The developers have also made available a live CD for those who don’t want to install RC1.
