Download KDE 3.4.2

Today is the second service release of version 3.4 of the K Desktop Environment, the popular desktop environment for GNU/Linux and other Unix versions. KDE 3.4.2 ships with a standard desktop including fifteen applications such as a Personal Information manager (PIM), multimedia, administration and network management programs, games, and so on. The software is now available in no fewer than 51 languages, with Afrikaans as the latest addition. Few or no new features have been added in this release, mainly bug fixes for issues encountered in the previous version. The KDE 3.4.2 release notes look like this:

KDE 3.4.2 is a maintenance release which provides corrections of problems reported using the KDE bug tracking system and greatly enhanced support for existing translations and new translations.
