Macecraft Software released the first beta release of jv16 PowerTools 2008 on Wednesday. This program is intended to tweak all kinds of things within Windows. For example, there are modules to determine which programs are started when Windows boots and you can search for duplicate files. Furthermore, the registry can be cleaned of unnecessary keys and then made smaller. In jv16 PowerTools 2008, not only has the appearance been overhauled, the module for cleaning the Windows registry has also been greatly improved. In addition, a module is also introduced that can be used to recover accidentally deleted files, but it is not yet present in this first beta release.
