For the second time in a short time, Macecraft Software has provided jv16 PowerTools 2006 with an update. This program is intended for cleaning the registry and fine-tuning the PC as a whole. For example, there are modules to manage the cookies, determine which programs are started when Windows starts up and you can search for duplicate files. In version 1.5.2.338, the program startup time has been shortened and three bugs have been fixed. The changelog explains which:

The updated version contains the following changes.

• Fixed a bug that caused the product not to start properly on certain system.
• Improved the overall startup time of the product.
• Fixed a bug from the registry cleaner engine that caused the MRU scan module to list non-MRU items as errors. However, the bug only occurred on a very special sets of data, therefore the bug is not considered to be very serious.
• Fixed a bug from the Duplicate File Finder that caused the tool sometime to hang.
