Download Joost 1.0 beta

Joost allows you to watch television programs and videos. The images are distributed through a peer-2-peer distribution network, which currently consists of more than 15,000 TV shows. The developers of Joost have the first public beta version on the weblog released. Beta 1.0 can here downloaded for Windows and takes up just over ten megabytes of disk space. Unlike the previous betas, it is no longer necessary to receive an invitation from a Joost beta tester:

1.0, I even read something that said, wow, that’s weird, they released
Beta 1.0 but it’s still invite only.

It’s not though, now we’re free for everyone to download and just watch
TV.

For the beta testers who’ve been around awhile, you’ll notice how
different and interesting Joost looks now. I’ve always watched a lot of
Joost, I kind of need to work, but I’ve really been getting into the
short films recently, they’re perfect for the thinking time between
emails, forum posts and chats.[break]
