The download is only 467KB in size and for that you get a version that runs in a Dos box under Windows, a version that can be started from the command-line and a version that starts when the screensaver is activated. Those who prefer a graphical user interface can use JkDefragGUI. This release fixes the following two issues:
Changes in JkDefrag version 3.36:
- Reverted back to an old Microsoft Screensaver library. The 2008 compiler has a library that is incompatible with Windows XP (“The procedure entry point ChangeWindowMessageFilter could not be located in the dynamic link library USER32.dll”).
- Fixed a problem with extremely long path names.
