JavaRa is a program to clean up old versions of Java and the Java Runtime Environment (JRE). Oracle, after acquiring Sun publisher of Java, regularly releases new versions of Java that add new features and fix bugs and security vulnerabilities. However, during the update, the old versions are not removed and over time these files can take up quite a lot of space. JavaRa not only removes old files, but also cleans the registry. In addition, the program can check whether the latest version of JRE is on the computer.
JavaRa was previously published by RaProducts, but last year it made familiar transfer this to The Web Atom, which we know here in the Meuktracker from CCEnhancer and System Ninja. The Web Atom, in turn, is now known as Singular Labs. JavaRa 2.0 has been rebuilt from the ground up and includes a new user interface and a new way to solve Java problems. Since the alpha build, we’ve added /SILENT and /REMOVEOLD commandline arguments, fixed a crash caused by incorrectly formatted definitions and added support for “jucheck.exe” update checking
