JavaRa is a program to clean up old versions of Java and the Java Runtime Environment (JRE). Oracle, after acquiring Sun publisher of Java, regularly releases new versions of Java that add new features and fix bugs and security vulnerabilities. However, updating does not remove the old versions and over time these files can take up quite a bit of space. JavaRa not only removes old files, but also cleans the registry. In addition, the program can check whether the latest version of JRE is on the computer.
JavaRa was previously published by RaProducts, but last year it made familiar hand over the publication to The Web Atom, who we know in the Meuktracker from CCEnhancer and System Ninja. The Web Atom, in turn, is now known as Singular Labs. JavaRa 2.0 has been rebuilt from the ground up and includes a new user interface and a new way to solve Java problems. - A results dialog is now shown after removal routine.
- Progress bar now increases more consistently.
- Credits/Help links now open in web browser.
- Fixed “program settings” preservation issue.
- Corrected typos in English language file.
- Program now produces a log file of removed items and errors.
- Can now output untranslated strings.
