Download iTmsBackup 0.8

On Source Forge, version 0.8 can be retrieved from iTmsBackup. With this program, it is possible to backup audio files purchased from the iTunes Music Store on a Mac to another location on the hard drive or external media. With iTunes, Apple’s own software, this can only be done on CD. The changelog is not (yet) available, but the following has been written about this release:

Our fifth beta release has been posted today, August 1. Beta 0.8 incorporates many changes, including a GUI change and faster parsing. All users are encouraged to update to this release.

Release 0.8 represents a major change, including a redesigned GUI, smaller file size, and faster parsing of iTunes’ XML data file.
