Download HyperSnap-DX 6.10.00

Hyperionics has updated HyperSnap-DX to version 6.10.00. Screenshots can be taken and edited with this program. The screenshots can be taken in the normal desktop environment, but also in a DirectX, Direct3D, Voodoo and Glide environment. There is also an auto-scroll function so that your screenshot can be larger than what you actually see on your screen, for example from a web page. The changelog of this release shows the following changes:

TextSnap enhancements and changes:

• Text capture functions were moved from Capture menu to a new TextSnap menu (just before Options)
• Two new TextSnap functions added: Text from a window with auto-scroll and Text from a region with auto-scroll for capturing longer passages of text that require vertical scrolling to capture all of it.
• New text capture mode added: Tab-delimited data capture (to paste into spreadsheets) – find it on TextSnap tab of Capture Settings
• New TextSnap Settings item on TextSnap menu allows quick access to the TextSnap tab of Capture Settings.
• The Quick Text Capture Mode settings are moved from TextSnap tab of Capture Settings to the new TextSnap Hot Keys on TextSnap menu function.
• Fixed to make TextSnap work under MS Windows Vista Beta 2

Other changes

• The generic “Configure Hot Keys” function from the Options menu was split into two: Screen Capture Hot Keys now found on Capture menu, and TextSnap Hot Keys on TextSnap menu.
• Image/Shadow function now has a new shadow direction setting, and a new option to Auto-add this shadow to newly drawn shapes. This Auto-add… setting may be also enabled from the top toolbar with one click on the “Toggle object shadow” button. When enabled, any shape you draw will have a shadow.
• Arrow styles now include double-headed arrows.
