HylaFAX is a package for Unix-based systems that makes it possible to send and receive faxes and alphanumeric pages. Because of different starting points among the developers, HylaFAX+ has been in existence since October 2005, in which changes are implemented faster than in HylaFAX, without +. The developers of HylaFAX+ have released a new version with 5.2.1 as the version number. The list of changes looks like this:

- numerous internationalization fixes in notify, faxrcvd, pollrcvd
- don’t parse JobControl stderr output
- cleanup client FIFO file when client disconnects not from root directory
- add TagLineLocale modem configuration option and corresponding tagtest feature for using UTF-8 font and format
- fix build error with Mac OS X Leopard (darwin9)
- change time format to always include hours
