Download HylaFAX+ 5.1.4

HylaFAX is a package for Unix-based systems that makes it possible to send and receive faxes and alphanumeric pages. Because of different starting points among the developers, HylaFAX+ has been in existence since October 2005, in which changes are implemented faster than in HylaFAX without +. The developers of HylaFAX+ have released a new version with 5.1.4 as the version number. The list of changes looks like this:

Version 5.1.4:

• add type rules “istring” support
• add faxmail -S tsi option
• improve handling of CRP when in Phase B receiving
• don’t release a modem when job preparation fails and there are other jobs in the batch needing the modem
• ignore DIS when in Phase B receiving – it’s likely echo
• add faxq ‘Z’ FIFO message for debugging use
• make faxq squeaky clean with valgrind –tool=memcheck
• non-zero data in TCF when we have an uninterrupted 1.5 seconds of zero tolerate data

• document EGettyArgs, document and enhance CallID support for gettys, and fix issues with egetty usage
• fix variable timeouts in Class 1 from behaving badly

• add errorcodes to all error status notices, put it into the q-file and provide a way for clients to query for it
• never send RTN in Class 1 after a null-page was received
• fix potential faxgetty crash in switchingPause
• add Class1HasRHConnectBug workaround option
• improve faxq behavior when MaxBatchJobs=1
• add faxalter -C command option
• add hfaxd JPARM TIMEOFDAY client option, associated job support, and also expand sendfax -a syntax to include it
• add “owner:pass” syntax for ‘sendfax -o’ option
