SurfRight has released an update to HitmanPro version 3.7.9. HitmanPro can remove viruses, spyware, Trojan horses, rootkits and other forms of malware. By smart scanning and using cloud computing, the software performs a complete scan in often no more than a few minutes.

To remove infections, the program must be activated. The first time a free key can be requested, but after thirty days a new key must be purchased. That key also gives access to HitmanPro.Alert. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

• Detection and removal of ‘Ads by LaSuperba’ malware. see here for example.
• Detection and repair of patched dnsapi.dll (both 32-bit and 64-bit)
• Command line switch /diskmode=compatible|direct.
• Tracking Cookie scan for Microsoft Edge.

improved:

• Improved Windows 10 compatibility.
• Remnant scan.
• Cloud lookup performance.

Fixed:

• Tracking Cookie scan for Internet Explorer.
