SurfRight has released a new beta release of HitmanPro. HitmanPro can remove viruses, spyware, Trojan horses, rootkits and other forms of malware. By smart scanning and using cloud computing, the software performs a complete scan in often no more than a few minutes. To remove infections, the program must be activated. A free key can be requested the first time, but a new key must be purchased after 30 days. Where support for Windows 8 was added in the previous beta, this has now happened for Windows Server 2012. The full changelog looks like this:

Added:

• Windows Server 2012 support
• Detection for RTLO unicode filename spoofing
• Detection for malware hiding its source executable filename from process memory
• XML Log now contains Cookie and PUP in attribute type.

Fixed:

• PUP export to TextLog.

Removed:

• Windows 8 Release Preview embedded whitelist
• Windows 8 Consumer Preview embedded whitelist

• Contains Windows 8 RTM embedded white list
