Hdclone is an extensive program to copy the data on a hard disk to one or more other hard disks. It is also possible to only make a backup of a partition or to write the data to a ‘USB mass storage device’. The developers have released a new version with 3.7.2 as the version number. This can be in various versions be brought in, including the Free Edition, the free-to-use variant that can only copy the contents of one hard drive to another larger hard drive. NEW: Logical and Physical Image Files
Physical image files contain an exact image of the data source. Logical image files usually require only a fraction of the storage and the time needed for physical images. Logical images may not be used for rescuing data. HDClone/S writes and reads FAT formatted media. HDClone/W also supports NTFS formated media and network drives.[break]
