HDClone is an extensive program to copy the data on a hard disk to one or more other hard disks. It is also possible to only make a backup of a partition or to write the data to a USB mass storage device. The developers have released a new version with 3.2.4 as the version number. This one can go in various versions of which the Free Edition linked below is the free-to-use variant that can only copy the contents of one hard drive to another larger hard drive. HDClone now supports Firewire/IEEE1394. SATA hard disks are now driven via AHCI (SATA II), too, with up to 300 MB/s. The Free Edition was also updated and is available for download for free.[break]
