Download HandBrake 1.7.1

Version 1.7.1 of HandBrake has been released. Available for Windows, Linux, and macOS, this open source program can convert footage into files including h.264, h265, or mpeg4 image formats and aac, ac3, mp3, or Ogg Vorbis sound formats. There are presets available for commonly used equipment, such as an iPad, Apple TV or Android tablet, and things such as chapter division and subtitles can also be taken into account. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

• Fixed Decomb filter producing corrupted frames with 10-bit depth or higher source (#5518)
• Fixed a potential crash when using the Comb Detect filter on an RGB source
• Fixed Intel QSV devices enumeration where devices from other vendors are present (#5317, #5177)

Mac

• Fixed an issue opening EyeTV sources (#5514)
