Download Hamachi 1.0.1.1

Spread the love

After a long series of betas, the first official 1.0 release of Hamachi finally came out yesterday. This program, owned by LogMeIn since August, installs a virtual network card, which makes it possible to set up a ‘direct’ connection between different computers without being hindered by any router, gateway or firewall. Files can then be exchanged via this connection and multiplayer games can be played, for example. New in this release is, among other things, the addition of a premium account, which has access to various additional options. Premium can be tried for thirty days, then monthly, semi-annually or yearlysubscription be taken. The full changelog for this release is as follows:

Changes in version 1.0.1.0:

  • Added support for using Hamachi from behind Web proxies and from locations that restrict TCP and UDP connectivity.
  • Introduced 30 day trial licenses. These licenses can be used free of charge once per every Hamachi account and once per every computer Hamachi is installed on.
  • Reworked Hamachi Preferences to put connection configuration settings on a front page of Preferences under ‘Detailed configuration..’ button. In particular, Magic Option has been renamed and moved from System page to this new configuration dialog.
  • Fixed a number of small and cosmetic bugs, including ‘-no-splash’ option not working.
