Download Hamachi 0.9.8.8

With Hamachi it is possible to make a direct connection with a number of computers, regardless of whether there is a router or firewall in between. Via this connection files can be sent back and forth and miltiplayer games can be played. The developer has prepared and released version 0.9.8.8. The changelog looks like this:

• Fixed problems with an installer failing at ‘installing virtual adapter’ stage. These were caused by partially broken unicode support in installer.
• Fixed ‘failed to configure virtual adapter’ application error. This was caused by a bug in ARP handling code in virtual adapter servicing code. The same bug might have potentially caused various connectivity problems in p2p communications – if you have experienced any strange networking behavior, you may want to re-test it with 0.9.8.8.
• Reworked GUI code responsible for loading and rendering of skin images. This reduced Hamachi .exe by about 40KB.

• Fixed bogus ‘connection lost’ message displayed when putting the ocmputer into a standby while being offline
• Fixed traffic counters skipping from KB directly to GB when the amount of traffic is above 16MB
