Download Hamachi 0.9.7.7

Hamachi is able to establish a peer-to-peer connection between Windows 2000 and Windows XP computers, after which files can be shared and, for example, LAN-only games can be played via this connection. This small program, with version number 0.9.7.7, takes up only 650 kilobytes of space and can… here are downloaded. This new version has the following changelog:

0.9.7.7 includes:

• Fixes for chat and main windows bugs (not being able to restore chat windows, main window getting hidden when chat window is minimized, etc)
• An improvement to the installer – an upgrade installation now takes even less time than before
• Increased UDP tunnel TTL to 64 (from 32, which is default set by MS)
• Fixed the problem of traffic being stopped when the main window was displaying a popup message.

[break]Version 0.9.7.5 and 0.9.7.6 have not been made public for these reasons:[/break]

• 0.9.7.5 had a major blooper in TTL tweaking code, which made it completely unusable, so it was pulled off
• 0.9.7.6 had a bug in popup displaying code, which caused some message boxes to be displayed without the message itself.
