Download Halite 0.3.2 RC

It has been quiet around Halite for a while, but Binary Notions released a new version of its Bittorrent client on Wednesday, namely the release candidate for version 3.2. Halite, which takes its name from the eponymous mineral thanks, is open source and is being developed by the Irishman Eóin O’Callaghan. The program uses the Arvid Norberg created libtorrentlibrary and some boostlibraries. Below is the full list of changes since the previous stable release:

Changes from v0.3.1.8 to 0.3.2 RC:

  • UPnP bug fixed.
  • fixed bug when setting unlimited upload or download rates for torrents.
  • replaces invalid filename characters with ‘.’
