Download Google Picasa 3.8 build 117.38

Google has released an update for Picasa 3.8. Picasa, which is available for Windows and Mac OS X, makes it easy to manage, edit and put photos online. The program offers options for straightening the horizon, adjusting the contrast and making a crop, among other things. There is also face recognition, which makes it possible, for example, to quickly show all photos that contain a specific person.

New in version 3.8 is, among other things, the possibility to movie of a particular person’s face. Furthermore, photos can now be edited online with Picnik and an assignment can be created that allows several photos to be uploaded, edited or deleted at once. What exactly has changed in this release is not clear as Google has not yet updated the changelog. Nor is it clear whether the Mac OS X version has also been updated.
