Download Google Picasa 2.7 build 36.40

Picasa allows you to easily manage, edit and put photos online. The program offers several options for importing and adjusting photos, including straightening the horizon, adjusting contrast, and cropping. Google has released a new version of Picasa. This time it concerns version 2.7 build 36.40, which follows build 36.37, which was published last week. The new Picasa is available from the usual url downloaded and comes with the following changes:

• Updated dcraw code to 8.70
• Fixed a case where updating thumbnails message would appear incorrectly.
• Updated version number for international installs.
