Download Google Chrome 23.0.1271.91

Google has released an update to version 23 of its Chrome web browser. Google Chrome is available in three different versions: stable, beta and dev, and this time the stable version has been updated. New in version 23 is, among other things, hardware acceleration of video by the graphics card under Windows, which among other things saves energy. It has also become easier to individually adjust the permissions for a web page. This update mainly contains bug fixes and security updates.

Stable Channel Update

The Stable channel has been updated to 23.0.1271.91 for Windows, Mac, Linux, and ChromeFrame platforms.

This version fixes several issues including:

• No audio from Flash content when speaker configuration is set to Quadraphonic (Issue: 159924)
• Aw, Snap renderer crash on Windows Server 2003 (Issue: 160559)
