The Gnome Partition Editor has been updated to version 0.8.0. With GParted it is possible to partition a hard drive and change existing partitions, for example by changing the file system or resizing. The program is not large, but usually it comes in the form of a live CD, so that it can be used on almost any computer. In version 0.8.0, among other things, an option has been added to try to recover data from lost partitions. The full release notes look like this:
