Download Gnome Partition Editor 0.4.5
A new version of Gnome Partition Editor was released on Friday, namely 0.4.5. With GParted it is possible to partition a hard disk and change existing partitions, for example filesystem or size. The program itself isn’t that big, but it usually comes in the form of a live CD, so it can be used on just about any computer. However, the latest live CD available for download from SourceForge currently contains stable version 0.4.4-1 and test build 0.4.4-2But hopefully that will change soon. Below is what has changed in version 0.4.5:
Bug fixes
- Improved crypt-luck detection
- Improved dmraid device detection by checking udev if needed
- Enhanced to search for udevadm if udevsettle not found
- Improved UUID detection to fall back to vol_id if available
- Improved file system detection with fall back to vol_id
