Download Gammu+ 0.37.00

The Gammu+ program is able to manage all kinds of things on mobile phones and is developed by the same developer as Gammu. The difference between the two programs is mainly the development language used: C++ versus C. For more information, we refer you to this page and on this page a number of screenshots with the corresponding description can be found. Developer Marcin Wiącek has released a new version with 0.37.00 as the version number. The list of customizations looks like this:

Version 0.37.00:

• SMS/MMS daemon is improved – optimized, fixed, can get continuosly MMS from Series 40 3.0 phones (they don’t delete them like 6230i)
• fixes for reading SMS/MMS/files from Series 40 3.0 phones
• added reading and backup for WAP bookmarks (Series 40 1.0 & 2.0 phones)
• added reading and backup for FM stations
• improvements and optimizations for example for reading backup files

Version 0.36.00:

• added daemon for receiving SMS/MMS to PostgreSQL database (you have new –smsmmsd option in CLI, preview in GUI, PHP preview and other…) I have tested it on 6230i and received SMS quite good. With MMS there was issue – if you try to get info about mms file, when it’s received, firmware deletes it…
• added saving MMS and reading SMS/MMS from backup file
• added adding SMS to backup file during sending SMS (from GUI)
• improvements for EMS decoding
• added ID for few new models

Version 0.35.00:

• fixes and improvements for SMS decoding/encoding (core + graphical EMS editor) – SMS default alphabet, IMelody, default animation/sound, text formatting, EMS packing/decoding
• improvements for backup/restore

Version 0.34.00:

• added possibility of getting numbers from pbk during sending SMS in GUI
• added decoding some EMS parts
• rewritten and fixed many SMS support parts (for example removed bugs added in 0.33)
• started work on encoding EMS parts (in GUI removed classical SMS editor and created initial EMS version)
