Limewire, no stranger to the Meuktracker, is a file-sharing program written in Java for Gnutella and Bittorrent files. In September 2005, after Limewire’s distributor considered adding code to prevent copyrighted material, a group of users stepped up and started working on the source code. The result was a so-called fork named Frostwire. While Limewire comes in a free and a paid version with more options, Frostwire is only available in one version. This contains all the options that are also in Limewire Pro and also has the option to chat. Version 4.13.5 has just been released, possibly the last version of the 4.13 series. The changelog of this release looks like this:
