Download FreePOPs 0.2.4

FreePOPs has arrived at version 0.2.4. This program makes it possible to still retrieve mail in your favorite email program from services that only offer email in a web browser, such as gmail, mail.com, yahoo and hotmail. In fact, FreePOPs starts up a locally reachable POP3 server that can handle the various web-based email services. The program is released under a gpl license and is available for Windows, Linux, Mac OS X and FreeBSD, among others. Below are the improvements made in this release:

Fixes in version 0.2.4:

• Removed an abort in popstate.c that was crashing freepops in some cases
• Better error reporting for the updater
• Fixed startup script for openwrt
• Fixed Makefiles to really clean all the dust left around
• Integrated some patches from gentoo
