Download FreePOPs 0.0.95
In the meantime, more and more web-based e-mail services, such as Hotmail, Yahoo and AOL, are no longer accessible via a local e-mail client. It is also annoying to go to the different pages every time, log in there and keep the screen open. It would be more convenient if you could just use your own e-mail program. This is where the FreePOPs program comes in handy. It starts up a locally accessible POP3 server that turns all webmail services into real POP3 servers. The developers have recently released version 0.0.95 with the following changelog:
After a long time, the new release is out!
- New plugins: criticalpath.lua, fastmail.lua (thanks russels822)
- Fixes for: libero.lua, yahoo.lua, gmail.lua, aol.lua, netscape.lua, tin.lua, hotmail.lua
- Improved: mimer.lua (that now supports specific text encoding like utf-8), browser.lua (get_head_and_body method added), httpmail.lua (fixed & problem)
