Download FreeNAS 11.3-U1
The first update for version 11.3 of FreeNAS has been released. With this software, a computer included in the network can be used as network attached storage. Additional functionality can be added with the help of plugins. The whole is based on FreeBSD and provided with a clear web interface. FreeNAS version 11.3 includes an improved replication engine that performs up to ten times better, an access control list manager that allows the creation of smb shares from the interface, and a repository for community plugins. FreeNAS 11.3-U1
iXsystems is pleased to release FreeNAS 11.3-U1! This is the first maintenance release of 11.3 with nearly one hundred fixes and improvements for both FreeNAS and the upcoming TrueNAS 11.3 release train. You’ll find numerous improvements to the snapshot, replication, and directory service features, improved support for encrypted pools, an update to Samba to address CVE-2019-14907, and many other visual or help text refinements throughout the UI. Here are a few other highlights of this release:
- Bug fix for replacing multipath drives [NAS-105059]
- Fixed a bug with VNET for jail installations [NAS-104963]
- Fixes to the SMB shadow copies module [NAS-105015 ]
- iSCSI configuration bug fixes [NAS-104954, NAS-104789]
