Download foobar2000 1.1.6 beta 2

This weekend the second beta release of foobar2000 version 1.1.6 was released. This popular music player can handle MP3, aac, ogg vorbis, flac and ogg flac, wav and wma, among others, and has support for Replay Gain. Furthermore, the player can convert different formats and the program has extensive options to adjust the tags. In addition, it is possible to change the functionality using plugins to expand further. Version 1.1.6 has, among other things, improved performance when playing very short songs and improved compatibility for labels created by other programs. The following changes have also been made in beta 2:

• foobar2000 now uses ” / ” string as multi-artist delimiter in ID3v2.3 artist fields.
• Added an advanced preferences option to toggle between treating TPE2 as BAND or ALBUM ARTIST.
