Download Firewall 0.6rc1

To configure and manage a firewall based on net filter/iptables you can use the Firewall program. This program makes the life of a system administrator a little easier by taking the complexity out of configuring netfilter. Via the supplied interface you can clearly indicate rules, hosts, groups, zones, interfaces and services and read the log files in real time. The developers have released the first release candidate of Firewall 0.6 with the following list of changes since the previous entry in the Meuktracker:

Version 0.6rc1:

• introduced new version numbering scheme
• updated build system to automake 1.9.6

Version 0.5.74 alpha 6:

• Added support for the –random option for NAT targets/actions.

Version 0.5.74 alpha 5:

• Fix –block for an empty blocklist. Close #49.
• Fix clearing of vars using firewall_script.
