Download FireTune 1.1.1

Totalidea Software just released version 1.1.1 of FireTune. With this free program, the settings of Mozilla FireFox can be adjusted to your personal hardware and internet connection to get the best possible operation. The download is less than half a megabyte in size and can be found on our own file server. Because the changelog was not yet updated when version 1.1.0 was released, we list all changes from the last two versions for completeness:

Changes in version 1.1.1:

• Some changes to the main performance tweaks – please re-apply the optimizations for your specific hardware configuration
• A new tweak included to optimize Firefox’s memory usage
• A few internal optimizations and performance improvements

Changes in version 1.1.0:

• Fixing some very rare problems on startup of FireTune causing a crash of the application on some machines
• There were still some ways to optimize both the program code and the tweaks for Firefox
• Fixing a file copy error during setup
