Download FileZilla 3.10.0.2

FileZilla has released version 3.10.0.2 of its eponymous open source FTP client. FileZilla is small, simple and yet complete. The program is popular due to its low system resource load. However, a common complaint is that passwords are stored unencrypted on the computer.

FileZilla is available for Windows, Linux, and OS X. Be careful with other sources, as there are modified versions floating around the web that contain malware. Also be careful with the ‘recommended’ download, as it comes with a SourceForge wrapper that also contains junk. On the more download optionspage does contain clean installation files. The following issues are fixed in this release:

• Fix a crash if a keyfile has been configured for SFTP and this file has become missing or corrupted
• *nix, OS X: Fix permissions on files uploaded via SFTP.
