Download FileZilla 3.0.0 beta 5
Today the fifth beta release of version 3.0.0 of the open source ftp client FileZilla has been released. FileZilla is a small, but very complete and easy to use ftp client. For example, it has good support for encrypted connections (SFTP over SSH and FTP over SSL/TLS), it has a site manager, support for queues, proxies and upload and download speeds can be limited. Not much has changed in the appearance of the program. However, it has been rebuilt from the ground up and is now available not only for Windows, but also for Mac OS X, Linux, and FreeBSD. The latter, incidentally, shines this time by its absence on the list of available downloads. The changelog of this release looks like this:
Changes in FileZilla 3.0.0 beta 5:
- Fix format string vulnerabilities
- Partial drag and drop support.
- Lots of minor bug fixes
