Download FileZilla 2.2.29

Although the people behind the open source ftp client FileZilla are busy developing version 3.0, they still found some time to release a bug fix version in the 2.2 branch. FileZilla, which no longer runs under Windows 9x or NT since version 2.2.23 due to its full support for Unicode, is a small, but very complete and easy to use ftp client. For example, it has good support for encrypted connections (SFTP over SSH and FTP over SSL/TLS), it has a site manager, support for queuing, proxies and the upload and download speed can be limited. The following three issues have been fixed in this release:

• Fixed – overwrite command line option
• Compatibility fix for servers sending Italian monthnames
