FileZilla is an open source FTP client for the Windows platform. The developers have released version 2.2.12a at lightning speed to fix an annoying crash in the proxy code. In addition, a number of improvements have been made here and there as the changelog below shows you:

New features:

• Local file list refreshes automatically on changes, patch by Chen-hsiu Huang
• UTF8 support on servers supporting it, patch by Tommy Wu

Fixed bugs:

• Updated SSL/TLS handling class
• Pausing files in queue did not work properly
• Crash in proxy code introduced in 2.2.12 (fixed in 2.2.12a)
