Download Feedreader 3.07 final
Feedreader is an RSS and Atom reader for Windows 2000 and above, made available under the GPL license. The program offers various options to adjust the layout to your own liking, as well as to display the data contained in the various feeds according to your own wishes. Feedreader is also able to apply filters to feeds, which is also known as a smart feed. Just after the release of Feedreader 3.07 beta, the folks at i-Systems released the final version of the 3.07 branch released. The new version can be downloaded as an installation file from our file server by clicking on this link. The changelog has remained unchanged from the beta, which may indicate that the following changes have been successfully implemented:
Change log for 3.07:
- New Enclosure Browser feature
- If newsfeed contains enclosures/podcasts then Feedreader asks user if podcasts should downloaded automatically
- All items with enclosures now show their download status : Not downloaded, In download queue, Downloading, Downloaded, Erroneous
- Possible to increase and decrease font size in Feedreader window from application
- Some users have complained about the fact that Feedreader is brought into foreground if notification window is displayed. I hope we have fixed this.
- Easier feed subscription from Firefox. Earlier Feedreader versions were a little bit buggy then talking about this feature. Now Feedreader should subscribe to feeds nicely if autodiscovery button is pressed in Firefox.
- Fixed some problem which occurred when upgrading to Internet Explorer 7
- Fixed some bugs in enclosure/podcasts downloading. Persons who are using Feedreader to download podcasts should update to 3.07 soon.
