Download FastStone Image Viewer 2.7 beta 4

FastStone released the fourth beta release of version 2.7 of its Image Viewer yesterday. This small and free program can compete with large commercial programs such as ACDSee and the also free programs XnView and IrfanView. It can handle most common graphics and RAW file formats and can perform some basic editing such as rotating (lossless for jpeg), cropping, resizing, red-eye removal, and adjusting colors, contrast, and brightness. Furthermore, it can generate a slideshow, possibly with music, and photos can be sent by email. The changelog of this release looks like this:

• Enhanced Contact Sheet Builder:
  • Added “Separated by Folders” option. If images are from multiple folders, a separate set of contact sheets can be created for each folder
  • Added “Auto Rotate” option. Images can be auto-rotated for maximum sizes
  • Fixed minor bugs
