Download FastPictureViewer 1.9 build 340

Version 1.9 build 340 of FastPictureViewer has been released. This program is aimed at the digital photographer and can be used to quickly and easily view and rate large amounts of images. There are no options to edit images, but the program does offer support for the raw format of more than 430 different digital cameras. Separate downloads are available for 32bit– and 64bitenvironments, and the program is free for non-commercial use. Since build 330, the following changes and improvements have been made:

• New {FileHash} variable available for renaming.
• Supports MD5, SHA1, and SHA-256 hashing algorithms. Include for example MD5 hashes in file names using the fastest hashing/renaming tool available!

• Shift+Ctrl+C now copies the image pixel’s to the clipboard, which can be pasted in all image editors and other graphics-enabled programs (Ctrl+C still copies the image file, which can then be pasted anywhere in Explorer).
• Includes the latest raw codecs (3.6.0.92) which fixes an issue with Sigma X3F files shot with the “medium resolution” setting in-camera.

• Fixes a small bug in the File Utilities plug-in where some advanced template-based renaming operations could lead to file names containing characters not valid for a file name.
